Making a Difference: "Your Community Partner"
 Since the company began, Freudenberg-NOK has been committed to social responsibility through supporting various charitable organizations. In early 2009, the Freudenberg-NOK Human Resources and Communications team began brainstorming ways the company could celebrate its 20th anniversary. Given the global economic crisis, the team decided that instead of spending money on local celebration events, the company would develop a program to give back to the local communities in which we do business. Each Freudenberg-NOK location was asked to identify meaningful community projects and partner organizations they could work with to improve the lives of the less fortunate.
The company launched the "Your Community Partner" program in May 2009, and by December over 40 different service projects were completed throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Malaysia. Our associates donated their time, talent and personal resources to help countless people and raise thousands of dollars for worthy causes.
The various “Your Community Partner” initiatives have made a positive difference for those in need at a time when they need assistance more than ever.
