Gasket with Transition Sealing Feature: US Patent 7,753,379
FNGP’s Gasket Division has developed and received patent protection for an innovative sealing feature that can be used in complex arched gaskets. FNGP produces gaskets with this feature today. The US Patent Number is 7,753,379 issued on July 13, 2010. This technology was developed and first applied in sealing the cam cover of a 2.0l turbo engine (reference p/n 12608604). This technology could be applied to solve complex sealing needs on cam covers, oil pans, or other complex components with 3-Dimensional Sealing.
